If you would like to volunteer or take SCTV for 2 credits just show up at one of these department meetings!

Production: Tuesday 2-3:10 PM
Events! Team: Tuesday 5-6:10 PM
Post-Production: Tuesday 1-2:10 PM
Programming/Review: Monday 12-1:10 PM
Business/Underwriting: Tuesday 4-5:10 PM
Publicity: Wednesday 4-5:10 PM

Fall Orientation Dates, Updates and More!

First off, I would like to Thank You for voting Yes on Measure 34! The measure passed by a large margin, and with your continued support SCTV will continue to grow and create exciting opportunities for the next generation of students.

Secondly, Fall Orientations are coming up!

Mark your calendars; fall is closer than you think.

Lastly I would like to apologize for our woefully out of date website! We are working to update it, but some critical sections like the submission guidelines and constitution remain to be updated.

If you'd like to submit your work, you may give us a standard-definition DVD or MPEG-2 file and submit it in person or via inter-campus mail to the Student Press Center. You will need to include the submission form, or fill one out when you get to the Press Center.

SCTV is hosting it's annual student filmmaker award show in March. Submit your film today and be recognized. The deadline is quickly approaching!

New Broadcaster

SCTV is currently switching over it's broadcasting system. This means the ability to schedule, more diversity in programming, and high resolution! But unfortunately this also means that they station will be experiencing technical difficulties for the next week or two. Please stay tuned.

Winter Update

SCTV is once again updating its website!

We are filling positions for Winter and want you to be part of the team. Positions are available in Station Management, Production, Programming & Review, Web, Publicity, Events Team, Business, and Underwriting.

Come by the ARC center Monday or Tuesday, January 14/15, at 7:30pm to see how you can get involved. We will be screening some of the highlights from last quarter Monday night.
